One group ate 240 calories through their pistachios as a snack, the other group consumed 220 calories through pretzels (a type of biscuit). BMI (body mass index) pistachios group showed improvements, and cholesterol and triglyceride levels were reduced drastically.

2. Mushrooms and fungi
