High uric acid also called hyperglycemia often causes problems in the joints, causing inflammation and pain. If you have high uric acid it is important to follow a healthy and adequate diet in order to lower it.
Importantly, people with high uric acid should prohibit certain foods in your diet such as meats, red meat, oily fish, seafood, pastries, alcohol and carbonated drinks.
In this article we will discuss three foods that will help lower it:
- Artichokes: is an ideal partner to help lower uric acid because it is very diuretic and debugger food, this allows us to streamline the process of urination and detoxify our body by removing excess of this substance quickly.
- Onions: Onions are also a great purifier of our organism, perfect to help eliminate that excess uric acid. You can boil the onion in water and mix with squeezed lemon, sipping a cup a day. The same can be done with artichokes we have discussed in the previous section.
- Apples: due to potassium and water that gives us is ideal for people who have this problem also is also perfect for people with fluid retention or hypertension.
