Rice benefits and properties fat

Rice is a staple food for many people. In some countries like Filip as, Bangladesh or China, accounting for 70% of energy consumed daily by this food.

As you can see, rice is an important food source of carbohydrates, ideal to give us a good boost of energy during the day. Furthermore ... is very low in fat!
  1. Blood Pressure: Rice is very low in sodium, therefore, is a good food for people with hypertension. Remember that eating foods high in sodium negatively affect the cardiovascular system.
  2. Free cholesterol: Contains a very low fat percentage, and the few that have are unsaturated fats (good fats). Therefore, it is ideal for people who have high cholesterol.
  3. Cancer Prevention: Being rich in insoluble fiber protects us from some cancers. It also has powerful antioxidants (flavoring and phenol) helping to fight free radicals in our body.   
  4. Skin Care: Thanks to these powerful antioxidants, rice helps delay the onset of wrinkles and other signs of aging affecting the skin.
  5. Diuretic: It has diuretic effects help to eliminate toxins and purify our bodies. Ideal for people who tend to retain liquid as rice husk helps us to lose that excess water in the body, causing weight loss.
  6. Alzheimer: It helps to stimulate the brain protectiveness enzymes and fight dangerous toxins that cause dementia and Alzheimer's.
